Tasting notes

Maintaining intensity in color, as well as an aromatic profile composed of concentrated red fruits, hints of jam, while still remaining distinct, with cedar and a little graphite. A lingering hint of flowers. Tannins are very velvety, giving a layered finish.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

Dating back to the 17th century, when the domaine was referred to Chivaley. Domaine de Chevalier would be linked to the Saint-Jacques de Compostela path that borders the edge of the estate. In 1983, Olivier Bernard would take control of the estate, bringing it to new heights.

Environmental practices

A vineyard run according to sustainable agriculture, the objective being to optimize economic performance by controlling inputs, to limit their environmental impacts. Additionally, half the estate is conducted using organic practices, with the idea to slowly convert the entire estate.
