HISTORY

The first mentions of the Bages lands date to the 16th century, then in 1750, the Lynch family became the owners before Jean-Charles Cazes purchased the estate in 1929. Each generation after which has championed the estate, Jean-Michel Cazes added a more modern vat room, storage cellars. Jean-Charles would take over the estate in 2007, beginning by mapping out the terroir of the estate. A second renovation of the cellars was completed in 2022.

The color is a beautiful deep garnet. Expressive, the nose develops aromas of blackcurrant and Morello cherry, with subtle notes of fresh mint. On the palate, the attack is punchy and fresh, followed by a mid-palate of great smoothness and elegant, enveloping tannins.
