HISTORY

Thomas Barton, in 1722, left Ireland to settle in Bordeaux and found a wine merchant company. In 1826, his grandson would purchase 50 hectares in the Saint-Julien appellation that would be classified as a second growth. Remaining in the family, the Barton story continues with Lilian and her two children.
