Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

Deriving its name from two roots, the Liberal family ran the estate in the early 18th century. The vineyard is located on the heights of the locality Bages. The estate would become revitalized when in 1960, the Cruse family acquired the property. In 1983, the Villars family would take over the estate, today it is Claire Villars-Lurton who directs vineyard management, taking care to direct the vineyard to sustainable viticulture.

Green in the vineyard

Environmental practices

Taking care to start organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard in 2007, even if the organic certification was confirmed 2019 and certified biodynamic in 2021. Stimulating biodiversity by adding trees and hedges to support insects, birds and bats. Supporting soil biodiversity to help the vine be more resilient to disease.
