Tasting notes

The harmony that emanates from the intense, deep color is also evident in the bouquet, where aromas of black fruit and roasted wood notes blend perfectly. It is also apparent on the palate, where the wine is supported by smooth, delicate tannins and unfolds a long, spicy finish.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

First established in the 18th century by Irish négociant Pierre Mitchell, who also founded the first glassworks in Bordeaux, the estate was sold to Eric Albada Jelgersma in 1997. Jelgersma has since worked hard to improve the elegant estate.
