Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

Owned by the Chanel Group since 2017, Château Berliquet’s history goes back several centuries. In fact, it’s one of the oldest names in Saint-Emilion vineyards, appearing on maps as far back as 1768. The Wertheimer family, which also owns Château Canon and Château Rauzan Ségla in Saint Emilion, manages this 10-hectare vineyard.

Environmental practices

Since 2017, studies and work have been carried out to reshape the plots and plant bocage hedges, 600 shrubs of 10 different varieties that encourage the return of auxiliary flora and fauna.
