Tasting notes

Garnet colored with a slight brick-red hue at the rims, with notes of dark fruits, cedar, and tobacco. An seamless integration of fruit with interwoven flavors of cocoa and savory spices and mineral undertones.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

Thomas Barton, in 1722, left Ireland to settle in Bordeaux and found a wine merchant company. In 1826, his grandson would purchase 50 hectares in the Saint-Julien appellation that would be classified as a second growth. Remaining in the family, the Barton story continues with Lilian and her two children.
