Tasting notes

An intense garnet color with good vivacity, concentrated rich dark red fruits that give complexity. With a dramatic volume emblematic of Cabernet Franc, amplifying the complexity and elegance. Tannins are velvety that round out the ensemble.

Fermentation container: Before vinification, vats were bled by 1% for this vintage.
Maceration technique: Vatting time between 19 to 26 days, with the blend including 5% of pressed wine.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

An extensive history tracing back to the 15th century classified at Premier Grand Cru Classé A. Purchased jointly in 1998 by Albert Frère and Bernard Arnault, the buildings and cellars have been renovated while maintaining the exterior landscape. The estate is also listed as a UNESCO heritage site.
