The color is black with very fine aromas of spices and cedar. The wine has an impressive, mellow attack and is full of charm, long, racy, and deliciously mellow. The tannins are very refined, the length is impressive, and the acidity is low.

The nose, smooth and seductive, transports you to a florist’s shop, where bouquets of flowers perfume the air, with a hint of sap reminiscent of freshly cut stems. The aromas are clear and transparent, like the water of a mountain lake. An electrifying concentration of flavors awaits you on the palate, pure and mineral, with a core of dark fruit, almost impenetrable, that releases waves of caressing juice.

This wine opens with a pure, concentrated nose. Aromas of violets, black fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry emerge. There are also hints of spice. On the palate, this Grand Cru Classé is densely concentrated with great tannic richness. The body is structured and very finely grained. A lovely saline freshness expresses itself wonderfully. With sweet black currant fruit, licorice, and wood spice, developing further, we find hints of white pepper as well as plum and tobacco. Very elegant with a layering of the flavoring.
