Tasting notes

The bouquet is intense, characterised by fruity, mineral and spicy nuances. A good symbiosis of red and black fruit notes, complemented by a hint of menthol. On the palate, the wine is linear, silky and harmonious. The tannins create power with elegance.

Soil composition: Mixed gravel surface with a sandy sub-soil and clay.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

Founded in 1815 by Etienne Théodore Dumoulin, the Château was later classified as a Second Growth in the 1855 classification. In 1896, the Charmolüe family made significant investments. In 2006, the estate was purchased by Martin and Olivier Bouygues.
