Tasting notes

A hue displaying a dark purple with violet highlights. Revealing an impressive aromatic profile featuring blackberries, dark cherry preserves, vanilla and spices. Complimented by a beautiful structure with ripe tannins and an exceptional finish.

Vineyard

Vineyard size: 32 hectares – 8hectares for this wine exclusively.
Soil composition: Primarily Oligocene deposits over gravel alluvial based soil with quartz, granite and basalt pebbles.

Winemaking

Fermentation container: Stainless steel tanks.
Maceration technique: Vatting time 20-25 days in Stainless steel tanks.
Aging: Oak Barrels & 5% amphora.
40% new oak for 16 months.

Heritage in the vineyard

Domaine

First established in the 19th century, owned by the Delon family for many years. Undergoing significant renovations and modernization in the 1990s under the guidance of Jean-Hubert Delon. In 1997, the later would purchase the estate from his family, increasing the focus on quality and innovation for the estate.
